When turning her head sideways didn’t help her understand the painting, she tried looking at it while upside down. Even though she looked ridiculous, she was determined to understand the chaos of the painting. The rest of her class had since long moved on, almost bored with the abstract. She found it interesting, but confusing as well.
After fifteen minutes of studying the painting every which way she could think of, she sighed in defeat and moved on, bypassing many works for art to catch up with her class. Maybe art aesthetics just wasn’t her thing.

“C’mon, Duck! Just one more! You can do it!”
“NYAAAAAHH!!! IT HURTS!!!” Duck screeched at Fakir.
Fakir squeezed Duck’s hand as she managed to do one more large push. As soon as she was through, the death grip on Fakir’s hand loosened. Duck started gasping. “Is-is it over…?” Duck managed to ask. Tip-tap. A small brush as feet dragged against the carpet, not entirely clearing it. Ahiru remembered Uzura walking like that sometimes, and she smiles. She extends out her arms with a wide grin, knees aching from crouching for so long - they’d been doing this for at least half an hour now - and shuffles forward a few inches. Her hair flops in front of her sparkling eyes but she ignores it, cooing gently.
